Location QR code generator
"The gate is behind the second warehouse, you can't miss it" — they will miss it. A location code opens the phone's map at the exact metre: wedding field entrances, Airbnb doors in courtyards, trailheads, boat ramps, your stall at the market.
It encodes the neutral geo: format, so it opens the guest's own
default maps app (Google, Apple, Waze) rather than forcing one vendor's link.
In Google Maps: press-and-hold the spot, copy the two decimal numbers.
Precision notes
- Four decimal places ≈ 11 m precision; five ≈ 1.1 m. Five is plenty — more digits just bloat the code.
- Coordinates are validated live: latitude −90…90, longitude −180…180.
- The payload is tiny, so the code stays scannable small — good for invitation cards.
On invitations
Print the code at 20–25 mm next to the written address. Guests who know the venue ignore it; the ones arriving from out of town, and their taxi drivers, will quietly bless you.
Want it in your invitation's colours, or as a print-perfect PDF?
